- Q: How often should I feed green tripe to my dog or cat?
A: Green tripe can be fed several times a week as part of a balanced raw diet. It’s ideal for variety and digestive support, but should not be the sole protein source. - Q: Is green tripe suitable for pets with sensitive stomachs?
A: Yes, green tripe is excellent for dogs and cats with digestive issues. It contains natural probiotics and enzymes that support gut health and ease symptoms like bloating or irregular stools. - Q: What’s the difference between cold-washed and bleached tripe?
A: Cold-washed tripe keeps all the good bacteria and enzymes intact — no chemicals, no cooking. Bleached tripe is processed and loses nearly all its nutritional value. - Q: Will my pet like the smell of green tripe?
A: It does have a strong, earthy smell (that’s how you know it’s real and unbleached), but most pets go crazy for it. It's highly palatable and often helps picky eaters. - Q: Can I feed green tripe to puppies or kittens?
A: Absolutely. It’s safe and beneficial for young pets when introduced in appropriate amounts, especially to support gut development and nutrient absorption.

The minced green tripe is an excellent food treat BUT 'she-who- should-be-considered' (if one is wise) does not want it in either of the 'people food freezers', AND even though it is minced it does contain some fairly big chunks.
One of my dogs, a male German Spitz in the end stage of being a puppy , is not too keen on it.
My other dog, a small mixed breed, arthritic, overweight old lady, is more than willing to eat his share.

Best green tripe.
Fresh frozen minced & very stinky the way it should be. My dog loves it & it is so good for him. My dog goes absolutely crazy for this.
I prepare it outside. I break it up into small pieces with the gloves then I put it in the freezer, double bags.
